It was brilliant conditions for Helen’s OW 1 and Helen dived superbly, she just had a little difficulty getting out of one of our school kit semi dry suits, YES Semi dry,we spoil you here at Donkey Divers.

This was Callum’s first dive in local waters having only dived warm water sites previously. 14 year old Padi scuba diver Callum was brilliant in the water and we strongly erg him to continue his education into the PADI Open Water course with Donkey Divers.

3 x dives Dive1 Icart bay, Dive 2 Back Herm Drift,Dive 3 The Humps Drift.

Great club dive yesterday evening, great company on board Great White, a wonderful full moon and scallops. What more could l you ask for. All divers dived well but have to say well done to Andy Marquis, you are really getting the hang of it now buddy.

I had a fantastic time yesterday teaching my 6 year old Grandson Seth to be a future skipper for Donkey Divers.

It has been an absolute pleasure teaching you your DM Dwayne, you have worked very hard and am now a very competent DM.

After helping me with Luke and Teddy this morning I took Dwayne back in to do his final remaining module the Search & Recovery scenario. Dwayne has also just achieved his PADI Master Scuba Diver, way to go Dwayne.

Dwayne also works hard with the Donkey Divers Club, Guiding and skippering the boat 🙂

Luke age 11 and Teddy age 8 were great in the pool this morning, Luke did a DSD Discover Scuba Diving and Teddy his Bubble Maker.

They had loads of confidence and I certainly hope we see more of you guys very soon, Luke it would be great to teach you your Jr Open Water Diver ( Your Mum might join you, how cool would that be ) Teddy you would become a perfect PADI Seal Team member.

Well done to the Del la Rue family Colin,Rose and May on successfully completing their DUP Specialty. We had lots of fun and some great pics to prove it 🙂

Tomorrow they are doing their Drift Adventure dive.

Congratulations to Dwayne Mahrer who achieved his PADI Deep after a fantastic dive 4 yesterday evening.

We did a Drift,27m max depth for 40 min sea temp 17c viz 7-10m and what a great dive. We saw scallops the size of saucers, two lovely size Lobsters, some very nice sized spider crabs  and a Turbot 60cm long laying in the gravel so calm it let me stroke it. So wish I had my camera.

Well done guys a very nice dive, conditions were perfect sea temp 17c saw loads including a shoal of Pollack,loads of heavily pregnant spider crabs,Rock Cook,Tompot Blenny,and Leopard Spotted Goby. VIZ  6m.
